Welcome to naval support facility Diego Garcia Housing

Our mission is to provide housing support for Service Members assigned to Naval Support Facility (NSF) Diego Garcia.

Barracks and Dorms 

All quarters are assigned through the Billeting Office on NSF Diego Garcia. The office is open 24 hours a day and has individuals assigned to help you with any housing problems you may have.  In addition to providing rooms, the Billeting Office front desk offers various items for sale for your convenience.  You may purchase laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, and various convenience items.  You may also purchase Cable and Wireless telephone cards.  Personnel are normally assigned permanent rooms upon arrival, in some cases temporary rooms are assigned.  All personnel are assigned private quarters.  All BEQs have a common lounge with a color TV, pool table and kitchenette.  The BEQs are also equipped with an adequate amount of washers and dryers.  No open cooking or flame producing cookware is permitted in the BEQs.  However, personal microwave ovens, popcorn poppers and coffee pots are authorized. All rooms are equipped with a television and a VCR/DVD combo. 

All permanent party Air Force officers reside in BOQ 8. All permanent party Air Force enlisted personnel reside in BEQ 16.

E-6 and Below:

Single Occupancy with one refrigerator, microwave, DVD/VCR combination player, 2 seater sofa, study table.

CPO:

Single Occupancy with a stove, one refrigerator, microwave, DVD/VCR combination player, 2 seater sofa, study table, kitchen and dining table.

Officer:

Single Occupancy with a stove, one refrigerator, microwave, DVD/VCR combination player, 2 seater sofa, study table, kitchen and dining table.

Must know information

U.S. Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia access to Diego Garcia is limited to official visitors and mission-essential personnel only.  Personnel traveling to Diego Garcia require country clearance, which is approved by the U.S. Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia, commanding officer.

Family members are not authorized to travel to Diego Garcia; this includes but is not limited to dependents and spouses.
