Transition Videos

Verification for Military Experience and Training (VMET) provides transitioning service members with a complete record of their military experience and training. Why do service members need to access their VMETs? The VMET is essentially a record of achievement in the military. It shows in fine print what a service member has accomplished in his or her military career.


The VMET can assist service members in creating resumes and narrowing down their post-transition career interests. This VMET video provides instructions on how to access VMET documentation.


Pre-separation Counseling: Scheduling a Pre-separation counseling appointment with a Command Career Counselor or Command Transition Officer is the first step towards your retirement or separation from the Navy. This video will explain what will happen during your appointment and how it will help you during the rest of Transition GPS.
